James is walking on his own a good portion of the time now. He will sometimes grab a helper to start out, but then he lets go and heads off on his own. Daddy still holds onto his hand when we're walking outside or on a hard floor, but that's more Daddy's choice than James's.

I love how pleased he looks to be doing it, too. I can't wait for the day when I can finally meet him!
I am so happy about this great achievement! Now, you guys will REALLY get your workout! There is a commercial on tv that always makes me think of you all. It shows a young man in his running shoes, running so fast, with his arms out and all of a sudden, you see this baby boy flying past him, in his diapers, just laughing that his daddy can't catch him. I think it's a diaper commercial, but to me it's James and Patrick. I love James' smile in the video. Much love to you all. Anne
I can't wait to see him for his first birthday and see this new talent for myself! Please tell him how proud his Auntie Kristin is of his walking skills and give him a big kiss. :-)
